Growing up, there were a few things I looked forward to every Fall; my birthday, bonfires, and my grandma's pumpkin pie with mile high whipped topping for Thanksgiving! Pumpkin is one of those flavors you either love or hate. I find very few people who float in between! If you're a pumpkin lover as I am, you'll love these pumpkin recipes! Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite pumpkin recipes that you MUST try this Fall!!
Y'all..I almost can't even explain how delicious this is! This past Sunday night at church, one of the women brought dinner for our youth group and the dessert was this pumpkin crunch! It was beyond delicious!!!! Served with whipped topping, this dessert is the perfect combination of smooth creamy pumpkin spice filling with a delicious yellow cake/nut topping! I was able to bring home the leftovers as most teens don't eat pumpkin, and I have managed to eat the whole pan this week! It's that good!! Definitely try this one!!
We are a waffle loving family and this pumpkin waffle recipe does not disappoint! It is the perfect combination of all of your favorite Fall flavors wrapped up in a fluffy breakfast comfort food! This recipe is a winner with my toddler as well! Served with a side of bacon, this combo is the perfect balance of sweet and savory to kick start your chillymorning!
If you're having a Friendsgiving or an outdoor event this Fall, this is the perfect hot chocolate recipe to please your chilly crowd!! A rich blend of pumpkin spice and white chocolate, this drink will give you all the Fall feels and make you want to cozy up under a flannel blanket and sit and watch the leaves Fall from the trees! It is delicious and is the perfect addition to an apple cider or hot chocolate bar!
If Snickerdoodle cookies and pumpkin spice lattes had a baby, it would be this cookie recipe from Just So Tasty! The combination of cinnamon, pumpkin, vanilla and brown sugar makes these cookies the perfect Fall treat! These would be great for the kid's table at Thanksgiving or school bake sale!!
Any parents out there making their infant or toddler's squeezable pouches themselves? This is a huge winner in our home! I used this recipe for Stella in the past, and she was over the moon for it! I've also used this same recipe and added butternut squash or sweet potato as well! This recipe calls for brown sugar, but with an infant or toddler you can easily skip the added sugar to keep it healthier! Simply strain or use an immersion blender for a smoother texture that will work in a sqeeze pouch!
If you would've mentioned a pumpkin chocolate combination to me in the past I would've questioned it, but now that I've tried it, I'm hooked!! I recently tried a super easy cupcake recipe that is just a box of chocolate cake mix, a can of pumpkin, and mini chocolate chips sprinkled in and the flavor combo was delicious but not very healthy! This recipe however is definitely more health conscious as it doesn't use any oil or butter! This is another perfect recipe for a Fall bake sale or to hand out to your neighbors as a kind gesture!! If you're scared of the pumpkin chocolate mix, don't be, it's to die for!!
To all of my fellow pumpkin lovers, we officially have less than 2 months left to be immersed in the pumpkin spice obsession without feeling crazy! Give these recipes a try and thank me later!!
