A Spooky Playhouse Makeover

After we decorated our home's front porch for Halloween, we decided to add some spooky decor to Stella's playhouse as well! Knowing how well we made out at Dollar Tree, we decided to go back to pick up a few items to give her playhouse a spooky makeover!

Now that it's so close to Halloween, there isn't as much in stock as there would have been if we had decided to decorate in September! While there wasn'ta large selection left, we still found a lot of cute items for her playhouse!

We started with two glow in the dark signs to put in the two urns in front of her playhouse! We already had a couple of metal jack-o-lantern candle holders at home that we added plus a couple of pumpkins we picked up at Tom Thumb!

Next, we picked up a black net, a package of foam spiders, and a few wired webs with glow in the dark spiders! I wish they would've had a few more of the black nets, but we made do with what they had! I used my staple gun to hold up the foam spiders, nets and webs.

Finally, we found a skeleton mirror reflection that we nestled inside of the Fall wreath that we already had on her playhouse door!

I love how quick and cheap this Halloween makeover was! For less than $20 we gave her playhouse a spooky makeover that will be the perfect backdrop for all of the fun dress up we're sure to play over the next month!
