Texture for Days

There is very little I love more when it comes to home decor than a assortment of texture to work with! Whether its a tarnished silver platter or a chunk knit throw, I'm always on the hunt for a rich texture! On a recent trip to the arboretum's pumpkin patch, I was enamored with the amazing color pallet and texture available to photograph! Whites, Greys, and Textures : Stella's Big Girl Room Make Over

Stella's transition from crib to big girl room almost completely skipped the toddler phase as our tall girl outgrew her crib mattress before she was 18 months old. No, she's not a giant, but she only sleeps width wise on a bed, so in her toddler conversion she was constantly hanging off of the edge and banging her head into the rails. We decided that if we wanted our bed back, we needed to transition her to a bigger bed. With a neutral pallet of whites, greys, and an abundance of rich texture in mind, I've started piecing together the elements of her room!

There are few things I love more than a front porch and patriotic decor! I am a sucker for Americana inspired curb appeal. Stella's Nursery Decor

Decorating Stella's nursery was one of the things I was looking forward to the most while being pregnant! From the moment I knew I was expecting I began  planning both boy and girl nurseries! Our house is pretty small, so I knew that I wanted to start with a neutral pallet, mostly shades of grey, to help the space feel larger than it is.  As soon as I found out that Baby B was a girl, the rest fell quickly into place!
