It's officially Halloween Week!! This week I'm sharing some of my favorite gifts, recipes, DIYs, and entertainment favorites inspired by Halloween! This week's SUNDAY SEVEN features great ideas for school treats, last minute costume ideas, and great ways for turning Halloween into a learning experience for your child! I hope you enjoy!!
Stella's school has the first Teacher Appreciation Day of the year on Halloween! This is a small treat to tell the teachers how much we appreciate all that they're doing for our toddlers! This year, I decided to go the gift card route, but picked up a few small Pumpkin Cupcake (Stella's favorite scent) Hand Sanitizer minis to go along with them! Luckily I found these adorable FREE printable gift tags from Eighteen25! It's such a quick and cute gift for a teacher, neighbor, or friend!
2. HEALTHY HALLOWEEN TREATS
While I'm always struggling to be healthy myself, I am way more conscious of what I feed Stella, and especially conscious of what treats I send to her school! While most public schools require you to send prepackaged items or ones that don't contain nuts, that is not the case at her school, so I do have a little bit more freedom which is nice! If you're looking for a healthy treat to take to a Halloween party or you child's school, check out some of these cute ideas! 3. LAST MINUTE DIY COSTUMES
Last year I had a costume fiasco with Stella! I had this amazing lion costume made for her that came in the day before trick-or-treating at the Arboretum! It was beautiful and perfect with one exception, my daughter HATED the tulle elements that made up 80% of her costume! I was heartbroken and had no other options as all of the stores were sold out of everything cute or featured a head piece that she also refused to wear! I dug in her closet, pulled out a tutu dress, and equipped with some felt and a glue gun ended up making her an adorable strawberry outfit! I learned that day that it's always a good idea to have some DIY costume ideas on the back burner! These are some of my current faves!!

6. BINGEWORTHY: STRANGER THINGS 2
OMG! Who else is completely Stranger Things obsessed? The new series was released on Friday and if you're like me, the idea of binge-watching something is laughable because well, kids! That means I'll be watching it in bursts over the next week, so no spoilers please!! If you haven't seen the first season, watch it now on Netflix!!
Looking for something to do with all of that leftover candy? This book would be a great gift for your preteen niece/nephew/neighbor/child! Why not make candy educational if you can right? This book has an assortment of experiments to try using a variety of different types of candy! There is even a volume 2 if you want double the experiments!!
Have a great week and a Happy Halloween!
