MOTHERHOOD MINI SIGN UP HERE
I can’t even begin to express the joy that I’ve experienced since welcoming our sweet daughter into the world in September. As a mama, you wonder whether or not your heart has the capacity to love another as much as your first, but within the first moments all of that fades. Beyond the love you experience for your new child, an even greater love comes from seeing your first born take on the role of big brother/sister! Having the ability to capture their relationship in photos over the years is something I will treasure forever.
After taking a four month hiatus to spend time with our newborn daughter, I was so excited to jump back into the game with a few of my favorites! The beautiful thing about Dallas is that though it may be the middle of December, the weather is still perfectly Fall-like, making this session at Lakeside Park in Highland Park the perfect way to spend the day! Add in that the client happens to be one of my good friends, and they have two of the most adorable dogs, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first day back on the job!
I absolutely love Business & Branding shoots!! I love meeting fellow small business owners and helping them capture images to grow their business! My recent shoot with Katie Eason, owner of 26 Letters Calligraphy, was no exception!
For years, Katie has been running a successful calligraphy business and she is about to rebrand and relaunch her new website!! Our shoot at The Lumen Room- Bryan Street in Dallas focused on capturing branding images to help with her relaunch!
It was such a pleasure to work with Katie and I can't wait to see her new website!!! Be sure to check her out on Instagram @26letterscalligraphy!!!
After losing my sweet Bentley, the first thing I did was look back at the last 14 years of photos of the times we'd shared together. He was with me through some of the most pivotal moments in my life including college, break ups, moving to Texas, getting married, my pregnancy with Stella, and many smaller yet equally as lovely moments in my life. Those photos inspired me to open up this mini session in order to capture sweet moments between families and their pups, photos that will be looked upon and cherished for years to come.
The end result was a week of amazing encounters with former and new clients along with their four legged children! It was such a great week and I'm excited to share some of the photos today!
